Every June, the world comes together to celebrate Pride Month, a time dedicated to honoring the LGBTQIA+ community, acknowledging their struggles, and celebrating their victories. What began as a tribute to the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York City has evolved into a global movement promoting equality and the vibrant diversity of sexual orientations and gender identities.

Pride Month Kick-Off Party – June 1 @ Tao Chicago

Kick off your Pride Month celebrations with Chicago Fire FC and The Lesbian Social Club! Following the Chicago Fire game on June 1st, head to Tao to enjoy music from Do Not Disturb, Jerzy, and Nick Rockwell while celebrating the freedom of love.

 Chicago Pride Fest – June 22 & 23 @ Northalstead

Chicago Pride Fest is a two-day street festival on June 22-23. Pride Fest features live music on 3 stages, a Youth Pride Space for teens, best of Chicago drag performances, the Proud Pet Parade with prizes, dance exhibitions, Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus, guest speakers, and over 150 food and merchandise vendors.

 Navy Pier Pride – June 29 @ Navy Pier

Navy Pier Pride is a free, full-day event celebrating diversity, inclusivity, and support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Festivities include live music, educational programs, performances from local LGBTQIA+ artists, on-site resources from community partners, and more.

 Chicago Pride Parade – June 30 @ Northalstead to Lincoln Park

Join tens of thousands of people for the 53rd annual Chicago Pride Parade on Sunday, June 30th.  This year’s theme is Pride is Power.

 Pride South Side – July 6 @ The DuSable

Keep the celebrations going! This year’s Pride Southside will be held on July 6th at The DuSable celebrating The Right to Pride.
