May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and while the team at Plan B believes it’s important to focus on mental health year-round, we want to take this time specifically to highlight important resources available to anyone dealing with mental health issues in the Chicago area.

C4 Community of Counseling Centers of Chicago

C4 is a behavioral health resource with locations throughout Chicagoland dedicated to helping everyone get access to the mental health services and care they may need. Their mission is to provide quality, trauma-informed, and culturally relevant behavioral health services tailored to the strength, vision, and diversity of the communities they serve.

NoStigmas

NoStigmas is a mental health advocacy group built by and for those whose lives are affected by mental illness and suicide. It is a peer support network working to foster a culture of inclusion and empowerment and eliminate the shame and isolation sometimes associated with mental health struggles.

Thresholds

Thresholds is an organization working to provide services and resources to anyone struggling with serious mental illnesses and substance abuse disorders in Illinois. With over 30 innovative programs and more than 75 locations throughout the Chicago area, Thresholds serves a variety of demographics dealing with mental health struggles as well as employment and housing issues.
