2022 Pride Celebrations in Chicago

From Plan B to you and yours (whoever that may be) – Happy Pride Month! We encourage you to celebrate Pride this month, next month, and every month after that. 

Below is a compiled list of upcoming local Chicago Pride celebrations to show your support and love for the LGBTQ+ community! 

JUNE 18-19: Chicago Pride Fest 

Featuring live music, food and drink, 150+ arts and crafts vendors, DJs, dancing, drag shows, a pet parade, and more, Chicago Pride Fest is the city’s celebration of LGBTQ+ life, culture, and community. This year’s festival is held from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, and Sunday, June 19, in the Northalsted neighborhood on Halsted Street from Addison to Grace Street.

JUNE 25: Proud to Run 5K/10K/Half Marathon

Stepping off at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, at 601 West Montrose Avenue, the 40th annual Proud to Run 5K/10K/Half Marathon raises funds to support LGBTQ+ organizations in Chicagoland, and welcomes thousands of participants every year. 

JUNE 25-26: Pride in the Park

Staged annually in Grant Park, the Pride in the Park outdoor music festival takes place this year on Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26, featuring a wide array of LGBTQ+ artists and performers. 

JUNE 26: Chicago Pride Parade 

Taking place at noon on Sunday, June 26, the 51st annual Chicago Pride Parade is the iconic march through the city’s North Side. Starting at Montrose Avenue and Broadway in the Uptown neighborhood, the parade winds its way through Boystown and ends near the intersection of Diversey Parkway and Sheridan Road in Lincoln Park.
