Every June, the world comes together to celebrate Pride Month, a time dedicated to honoring the LGBTQIA+ community, acknowledging their struggles, and celebrating their victories. What began as a tribute to the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York City has evolved into a global movement promoting equality and the vibrant diversity of sexual orientations and gender identities.
During this month-long celebration, Chicago will be hosting countless events to foster understanding, acceptance, and solidarity. Want to join in the festivities? Check out our list of four Chicago Pride celebrations coming soon!
