Diving into Creative Video Marketing with Zip Water


When it comes to home water appliances, not all taps are created equal. When our client, Zip Water, asked us to make a video spot for their HydroTap (the World’s Most Advanced Drinking Water System, with the ability to dispense instantaneous chilled, boiling, and sparkling water) the Plan B team was ready to dive in!

We approached this ask from a new angle. Literally. To introduce its one-button push feature to the US market, coming off the success of their appearance at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (which we also had a hand in), our team utilized a 180° camera setup to show multiple viewpoints of the tap in action and introduce revolving scenes of its many uses. By highlighting a family home, we were able to call attention to the HydroTap’s ease of use, daily convenience, and child-friendly safety features.

With a two-day shoot, our production team captured the HydroTap’s abilities in an inexpensive way…and optimized our time, budget, and efforts with a chapterized video that can be broken into multiple segments for future social content and pool-out spots. Complete with a raised glass to a job well-done!
